# Photo Credits — Highlife Quarter (scroll concept demo)

**Highlife Quarter is a fictional business.** None of these photographs depicts a Highlife
Quarter property, development, site, or person. They are licensed stock images used purely to
illustrate a website style for an unofficial concept demo.

All photos below are from [Pexels](https://www.pexels.com) under the **Pexels License** (free
for commercial use, attribution not legally required). Photographers are credited here as good
practice, and so a real named-business build can swap each one for the client's own photography.

## Honest notes on what these images are

- **Only `scene-accra-skyline.jpg` was actually photographed in Ghana.** The villa, apartment,
  hotel and facade images are international stock chosen for a luxury register, not for
  geographic accuracy. A named Ghanaian client build should replace them with the client's own
  project photography, or with Ghana-shot stock.
- The "One day in the Quarter" scene is an **SVG diagram** — a stylised sun, sky and ground —
  with the four building blocks filled by the licensed chapter photos above, clipped to each
  silhouette and colour-graded to the time of day. It illustrates an idea; it is not a
  rendering of a real masterplan, and the buildings shown are not Highlife Quarter projects.

## Images considered and rejected

Recorded so the same mistakes are not repeated:

- `pexels-photo-17051853` (shopping mall interior) — **rejected**: prominent SpongeBob
  SquarePants (Nickelodeon) branding, a "rag & bone" storefront sign, and identifiable
  shoppers.
- `pexels-photo-15306470` (clothing store interior) — **rejected**: a Louis Vuitton boutique
  with monogrammed trunks in frame, plus identifiable staff and customers.
- `pexels-photo-7316858` (commercial atrium) — **rejected**: Chanel "N°5" advertising and
  INGLOT store signage.

Third-party trademarks and identifiable faces must not appear in a concept demo for an
unrelated fictional business.
